Redecking a composite

This article is a re-write of a [slightly longer] previous write-up due to the webserver being destroyed by lightning!

Tom Moore bought a bare glassfibre hull for home completion somewhere at the end of the '70's or start of the '80's. The hull is the same as a Richmond Marine Minisprint Mk2 hull.

I gained the hull from Tom early in 2019 and set about redecking it to my own design (loosely based on a Contender design actually!).

The finished hull weighs a little over 50kg (a bit more than I'd hoped) but performs very well. If anyone would like more info then just contact me via the webmaster.
